On Heartbreaks

It's not easy going through a heartbreak. Trust me on this. There's really no point sugar-coating things. When you give all your dedication and all your trust in someone, the moment they walk away, it's like they're ripping out your insides, tearing your soul apart with each step they take. Maybe that's the reason why I turned off all my emotions in the first place, so I won't have to deal with all these pain. But I was foolish enough to think the right guy would show up in my life at what, 17? Silly silly me, I really should've seen it coming, but I honestly believed that perhaps I was lucky enough to be one of those people who have their first relationships last a lifetime.
